Levi Karlsen's handwritten will was found in his father's house a few months after his father's arrest, and police found it interesting for a number of reasons. It gave his father Karl power of attorney, and control of Levi's assets. Levi also included a request that he not be put on life support. Police learned that Karl Karlsen accompanied Levi to have the will notorized and they were particularly interested in the day it was signed: November 20th, 2008. Just a few hours after Levi signed the will, he was crushed to death by a pickup truck in his father's barn.
