Are you kidding me? This guy is a scumbag. For starters he's a cop. So he's comfortable with force, has no problem with violence. Because that's what cops are - an extension of the state's monopoly on violence. And there are good cops, great cops. But this guy was a thief, a fraud and a liar. He was willing to risk his family, his marriage, his freedom and everything he had for the pitiful sum of $19,000 embezzelled from his employer. Motive? You tell me he had no motive? Are you blind or just stupid? HIS WIFE'S LIFE INSURANCE POLICY PAID OFF TO THE TUNE OF AT LEAST A MILLION DOLLARS. You mention that IN PASSING twenty minutes into the show. And that by itself is enough. He knew she cheated on him. He had to. And maybe he wanted someone younger, a bimbo he could bang in the hot tub. So he does the wife, collects the million and starts over with a bag of viagra and a small fortune. Wake up.

What did Chris Hall's defenders make of that ample handful of Christi's hair with the broken clip in it?

I don't remember the last time I saw a human lose that much hair all at once, unless it was being cut in a beauty salon. It was simple to see that someone who was not the victim yanked out a great deal of Christi's hair that morning.

I feel for Christi's daughters, who obviously had to bury their heads in the proverbial sand in order to ignore Christi's injuries, many of which could not be explained away with an accidental slip and fall.

As for the 'dissenting' medical examiner, is he sure that it wasn't suicide? The full body of his work should re-examined in toto.

I actually think there was too much reasonable doubt to find him guilty.

Hah! Me too! That's why I'm here. I think it will be posted to the Dateline site on msnbc.com on Friday. That's what usually happens.

The first trial deadlocked. Second trial he was found guilty and sentenced to 25 to life.

Good. I believed the neighbor's daughter on the show. She had no reason to lie.
I'll still have to come back, once the show is posted to the Dateline page, so I can watch the end.
I like to see how these things come to the final result.
