What an amazing one sided story! Great reporting. Did anyone ask who sponsored the childrens father to come to the United States and why if they were so in love that she did not marry him and pursue permanent residency for the father of her children. Furthermore, I assume her divorce investigators were probably crucial in getting him deported from the United States, thus creating this scenario. Did anyone think to interview the father and get his side of the story? I must have missed that part of your report. Report ALL of the facts please.
What people often forget is that the father has just as much right to have custody of the children as the mother. The judge made a very difficult decision, but realistic one. The father can't travel to the US, the kids are too young to travel back and forth but are young enough to easily adapt to a new country. The mother continuously repeating that the kids are US Citizens does nothing for her argument. Maybe Ms Rutherford should consider purchasing a residence in France for the periods that she is not filming her show. The kids should stay in France.
