hmmm...she really is quite homely. you can tell she only looks good to men because she has a good body and wears a ton of makeup. but her head is oddly shaped, poor chin...i think that probably affected hr self esteem... that's why she went with some silly high school kid. Like, that's the best she could do? hmmm....

This is a pedophile plain and simple. She has traded on her looks all her life and feels she should be allowed to do whatever she pleases because of them.Although she is not a true beauty she looks as good as money will allow her. Now she wants us to feel sorry for her "because she wanted to kill herself" I say do it you sick bitch. You are a dishonor to your profession and one sicko pervert, No sympathy here, because you got caught. Hope you get the max and your looks will come in handy when you meet "Big Bertha" behind bars.

Are you kidding me? Teachers who touch their high school students are sexual predators, period. She has altered his future and messed with his head forever. He just doesn't know it yet. She repeatedly lied to faculty, police and her family. But, we're just jealous of her beauty and high-profile lifestyle?!? A sentence of probation is a joke.

You are a pedophile plain and simple. You have traded on your purchased looks all your life and feel an entitlement because of your monied looks. You are not a real beauty and your required purchase is understandable. You continue to victimize this boy by getting him on TV to justify your sickness. You know deep where you should have a heart that you are a pervert and you continue to misuse this boy.

In all honesty, if I saw both of them walking down the street together, I wouldn't be able to guess their age difference. If she weren't his teacher, no one would be so freaked out about this. I understand that there are limits, but this case isn't the average scandal; he is clearly capable of making his own adult decisions.

Love doesn't necessarily have rules. Many 17 yr olds are much more mature than those older. Cody is a man..not a child. I think the end result is great! They look happy and that's more than what many people experience. Bless their future together! Sandusky is an example of the predatory behavior and the destruction of childrens' futures. And...the law is flawed in that it doesn't always see the big picture. There is no black or white..only shades of gray. Learn, people, learn.

Leave them alone they fell in love. Go after the people who have really preyed on someone. The police did do their jobs, based on a rumor! Any one out there who has never done something shady, keep condeming. We have Romney running for Pres. who can't tell the truth, blind ambition for a job that he should have enough respect for that he would not want to be a liar. Two people had a relationship that they both wanted.

It was obvious she was lying about their relationship from the start. I have 4 sons and when they are involved physically with a female their brains are altered. I've seen it many times. That woman knew exactly what SHE was doing, that boy is another matter! I think it speaks to the fact that her 10 year relationship ended in a failed marriage of only a few weeks and then she picks a more manipulative prey. The prosecutor caved. Now Sarah will be as sleazy an attorney as the one that represented her.

Situations like this reveal the problem of setting arbitrary ages for consent (sexual), driving, drinking, etc. While ages have to be set, they aren't necessarily the best for everyone. Cody was certainly mature enough to make the decision himself that this was a relationship (with a woman several years older than himself) that he wanted. The fact that they're still together after this ordeal indicates that this was not a situation of an adult taking advantage of a youngster. He had a chance to get away from her if it was an exploitive relationship. Everyone knows adults in their twenties, or even thirties, who are not mature enough for a relationship. This should not have been a criminal matter. But, Sarah, as a teacher, should be censured for violating a professional relationship, just as a doctor, for example, should be censured for having a sexual relationship with an adult patient. This is a matter, then, just for her teacher licensing body.

That SMIRK from little miss cheerleader!!!! Just lie and get away with it and no consequences. I don't have anything against any state in particular, but when the state of Kentucky "okayed" this they went on my list of states that condon incest and any other kind of sexual perversion. Then I can't believe that "Sarah" (I had something else in mind) didn't even have to register as a sex offender, which would have at least given her a label except for "cute hot teacher (oh and NFL cheerleader) who molested her student". DISGUSTING.

The more I watch the sicker I get!!!! Then I read some of these posts that say "good for them". I watched this kid say "she is such a good girlfriend - like she doesn't get mad". Oh brother! What a grown up he is. Let's just see if they are both together in five years or so. She will find someone younger, or he will get tired of someone "older" who starts getting less like such a "good girlfriend". I just can't believe that any news channel would give them the time of day much less put them on national television to give others with the same "values" something to worship. What a world this has become

This case can and will have an endless effect on any and all trials pertaining to this kind of crime. If we reverse the situation..(male, 24 year old teacher and a 16 year old female teacher) this poor man would be rotting in prison and the student would never have had the chance to walk hand in hand with her love! this needs to change, there needs to be a 100% rule... get caught with a teacher as a student..no matter the age... you should do time and be required to register as an offender! I'm tired of hearing about these women and there students having affairs with no, to little repercussions! There are male teachers doing hard time for the exact crime! Come on courts.. 100% convictions or none.. stop the discrimination!!!

A huge miscarriage of "justice". Imagine if it was a man that did what 'Sara the molester' did. He'd be in jail as we speek, with a lifetime sexual predator label affixed to his name. Talk about double standards! How anyone in this case can look anyone in the eye and say "justice was done" is beyond me. And the poor mother of 'Sara the molester'....her punishment for aiding and abetting this crime? She was forced into early retirement! What a stern sentence that was! Both of these families are hypocrites, and messed up beyond belief. I'm sure they all see themselves as good christian people, model citizens, and guilty of nothing.

Cody....your "sweetie" is a born liar, and if you think she won't bail on you in a heartbeat you're dumber than I think you are. And have you really seen her without all that makeup and plastic goop all over her? There should be a law about truth in packaging of women. She could get convicetd of that in a nano-second.

This entire case makes my blood boil. Put a man in the exact same position of 'Sara the molerster' and they'd hang him. She gets to skip away without a care in the world. And she wants to be an Attorney? She can lie through her teeth, so she'll probably be a great one!

Sara, you're a disgusting human being. Cody, you're an idiot, but you're young, so you have a trace of an excuse. 'Sara the molester' doesn't have an excuse. She's a predator, a liar, and a .......well, I can't write it down here, but it rhymes with "shore".

You are a pedophile pure and simple. You continue to exploit this boy to try and make yourself look good. You know this is no relationship that will work for you or him. You should be smart enough to know that a foundation built on such a perverted and sick basis cannot stand. Stop it you sicko. As for your stupid mother she is almost as sick as you talking such garbage to salvage your rep. It is understandable that a mother would rise to help her child but a mother should also know that when a person even her child is sick and depraved you can not condone or support that or a child can not grow, learn and move forward. That is why you, perverted sex offender, continue in your path of distruction.

What does this show have to do with ANYTHING? Almost always we can tell what the verdict will be in a so called mystery.Your presentations are, to say the least, shallow.Have you run out of material- young men have been having relationships- even if it is in their minds with their teachers since education began. I think this has become also true of young women. If a teacher accepts these advances- THEY ARE STUPID AND MORE IMMATURE THAN THEIR STUDENTS. This is not material for an EXPOSE'. Maybe Dateline needs to grow up.

They fell in love. Leave them alone. The cops had to hear a rumor then investigate it? Doesn't that seem odd? The guy wasn't complaining and wasn't he the "victim

They fell in love. Leave them alone. The cops did there jobs after they heard a rumor? We actually pay them to do something this lame? They need to protect the younger kids who are truly victims. After all the "victim" in this wasn't complaining, he's a young man! Treat him like one. So they lied, the only thing wrong with this is she was his teacher After all we're willing to elect Romney president and he's the biggest liar. I think we should be more worried about that! I mean shouldn't he have enough respect for us and the most important job in the land?

"Wholesome" is how the dad described his daughter??? I just can't get past how easily she and her mom were able to lie and then justify it. She has proven (even to the Dateline reporter) that she can lie whenever the questioning gets tough and even coerce her mom and "boyfriend" to do the same.

Her father described her as wholesome??? I am perplexed by how easy it was for her and her mother to lie to the authorities and then to coerce the young man into destroying evidence (his phone) and lying as well. Then both mother and daughter justify their lies to the Dateline reporter. How is anyone supposed to believe these people?

What a waste of police and court resources! The smartest thing the Brits ever did was to kick out the Puritans. Sadly, we got stuck with them. Why do we have the highest age of "consent" in the civilized world? I think it's because parents are unable to to let their kids grow up, and the flaming fundamentalists use that weakness to write their prejudices into law. She should have been suspended from teaching maybe 6 months for unprofessional conduct. Go look for criminals who actually hurt someone!

I graduated in the 80's and there were 3 high school MALE teachers/coaches that were romantically involved amd even married girls within my high school. I totally judged Sarah at first and then I thought about my own high school days and realized that this is so wrong. You can't tell me that the MALE teachers/coaches in my day were any different then Sarah. I'm not saying what she did was right - as a teacher she needs to know that she can't go there with a student, but why is she getting the bad press when this has been happening for decades with MALE teachers/coaches. I am sure if she wasn't a professional football cheerleader this would not have come to the media. It's all wrong and even those MALE teachers/coaches in my day were wrong. I am sure if those MALE teachers/coaches in my day were questioned, they too would have lied as well.

Once again, with the stroke of a pen, a judge indescrimanently signs a search warrant, the police go off violating citizens' 4th Amendment Right to Privacy, and the legal system goes about wrecking people's lives. Must make their mothers proud.

This was once again a total waste of taxpayers money. If originally it was an administrative matter by the school trying to remove her as a teacher without involving the police I wouldn't have a problem with that. Clearly teachers aren't suppose to sleep with their students. But to involve the police in a matter of a woman teacher and a male student, is just a waste of money. I also think the law, not sure if I misinterpreted it, of making it illegal for a teacher to not have sex with a former student after they've graduated high school and are of legal age, is ridiculous. If you disagree with me on all this fine, just tell me what exactly Law Enforcement accomplished other than wasting the taxpayers money when the matter could have been resolved administratively and internally within the school system and gotten the same results- her no longer teaching.
