Most kids never cheat
I'm sorry, but that is ABSOLUTELY untrue. I would venture to say that if a professional from a show like DateLine NBC sat down with 1,000 kids, every single one of them would say that they have cheated before. I used to teach school, and even the best kids would cheat if the stakes were high enough or the peer pressure was strong enough. Thinking kids are better than they really are is a common mistake most parents make, and it's one of the main reasons a lot of really great teachers and administrators are leaving the profession. We can't discipline anymore, and we can't get the parents to discipline either... if we tell parents what their kid did in class that was bad, they blame us or say, "My kid would NEVER do that!!!" Really?!? REALLY??? Think again.
