Is it not still a possibility that Quinn was forced to say this stuff on this tape...I don't think she sounded like she was really enjoying anything. She did admit to pretending to enjoy this mans company thinking it would save her life. I don't see how this tape proves anything. Who knows...just finished watching the show said she admitted...But I don't understand how the tape "proves" anything. He is a criminal justice major? Just playing devils advocate. He could have had the tape thing planned out before this whole thing occured.

My DVR stopped recording and I missed the last 30 minutes of the show! What happened? It stopped recording when a man called about his face being on a video camera?? Was her husband involved?
I know Quinn has a sister named Lisa..wondering if this is her. How offensive this was! If she wasn't a rich white woman things wouldn't have gone like this. It's like the runaway bride...lying women that make cops do things other than their jobs and get off with a slap on the wrist.

Wow Ms. Linda Williams sure is hostile at the husband for not playing his role right in their pathetic little drama! He did the exact right thing by calling the police; if he hadn't, the truth about Miss Looney Tunes and her "all night long in every position" lover would not have come out. Most kidnappings in this country do not work out exactly because we have good cops whom we can trust- unlike Mexico where half of the police are on the drug lords' payroll. Reid Gray is nothing but a victim in this whole mess- I can't even IMAGINE having a spouse that would pull some crap like this!! I believe she pulled this whole stunt as a way to get her boyfriend "Jasmin"(what a stupid name for a GUY!!) some EZ cash..remember, he was a lowly mechanic, and it's not like she could just withdraw 50,000 from their account w/out having to explain it. I am just glad Reid dumped her. He seems like a straight-up guy and I hope he finds REAL love with a kind, honest woman who will provide a good role model for his daughters. He should find a faith community to help him guide them, and himself toward emotional healing, and to give them a solid moral compass for their lives lest they become like their mother. I hope she gets help too- she does not come off like a manic/depressive- more like a Borderline Personality Disorder:lots of lying, promiscuous behaviour, prone toward dramatic situations/outbursts, blaming, alcohol and or drug abuse, etc. Step 1-quit lying to yourself and others and admit you need help.

when are we going to stop letting women get away with stunts like this. if she wasn't rich and white, the tape would have settled the matter. she became bipolar when it was convenient for her. she was in this from the start. her husband should give her the 50,000 she was trying to extort from him, and fight for sole custody of his children. what happens when she has another (bipolar break) and those helpless children are with her. they should both still be in jail, because with this slap on the wrist, they may later do something more harmful to someone else. america get a grip. people are being hurt by those we give a free pass to for bad behaviour. her mother believes she's bipolar because she can't believe she gave birth to such a bad person. and i'm sorry to say this but, she didn't sound scare or bipolar on that tape.

Hey, I do take exception to that. You don't know what my family has gone through and I hope nobody who really did have a kidnap murder in their family sees this laughable show and comments as it will probably nager them. Your sister is still alive, my brother is dead, as is my best friends little sister, killed by anti-Semitic terrorists. These people were for real, no they didn't kidnap, just set off a bomb in a university. I would probably stop talking about it now because real victims may get a bit offended.

Is it not possible that she was "brainswashed" by the stress of being kidnapped and held at gunpoint. Is it possible that she formed a "relationship" and played along with her kidnapper to save her own life so she could see her kids again? Is it possible that the kidnapper convinced her that her husband wanted her dead? Can you think of any justification whatsoever for Jasmin to say that he promised her he would let her free from the beginning? I don't know the truth but from what I saw last night, Jasmin definitely was a lying criminal but there was not sufficient evidence that she was... as a matter of fact, based on the "evidence" she may have just been smart (or lucky) enough to use sex to save her life.

Hey, that's just my opinion..I could be wrong. We are all allowed to state our opinions on here. Also, did she not plead no contest? Didn't she even say she made it up? We're all allowed our opinions and mine is that it sounds fake. Oh and no need to feel like I am sad person or you feel bad for me, I think the majority of people think this is fake so you should feel bad for them instead. Are you a family member? You don't have to answer that, but if you are and she put one over on you, than I feel bad for you. That would be a horrible thing to think your sister is kidnapped and I would be mad and not want to admit it's not true either. Maybe you'll learn the truth someday but please, no condescending pity for me. I am not the only one who thinks it's not true.

What a case l solved it within 5 minutes - deception, incredible thats why when you meet people in this World you have to pay attention - the main thing you have to listen - made her Mother look real foolish they come up with this b s about mental issues - you can't be serious. When she was screwing this guy and he ask "do Reid get it like this" and she says "you know he don't" cold blooded thats why l don't trust none of em far as l can see em - just date em is my mantra - stay emotionally detached. boy l feel for that husband and those kids she and her mother made him feel like a complete trick.
It wasn't surprising when they talked about her being bipolar. Bipolars sometimes self medicate with alcohol and during a phase of mania promiscuity and erratic behavior isn't unheard of. She had access to money so why an elaborate scheme to extort? She felt her husband didn't care about her and put him to the test. Her husband probably did care and wanted to know who kidnapped his wife. It does happen that these bipolars can have baseless, way-out-there thoughts that drive them to some pretty rash actions.
OK, all said she was definitely in the wrong. Mentally ill people can and should be held responsable for their actions. Look at Andrea Yates. If Quinn would've killed someone, she would be in prison. At worst she wasted law inforcement's time and money and hurt her mother and others emotionally.

They didn't mention the gun, jewlery,or internet searches on jasmin's computer ,where he was searching beards, masks , professional disguises, also how to put a silencer on a ruger gun!! yeah sounds like what ur lover would do! fact is he was a stalker ,who kidnapped manipulated & raped Quinn!! & started taping on that 4th day after he had her in his control! anyone would pretend to b in on it if there's a shot in hell he's gonna release you!! think about it people!! Quinn was the one who was a nurse right out of school when they met, they agreed upon the birth of theyre 2nd child for her to be a stay home mom so reid could start his business! the marriage was damaged when reid cheated on Quinn, they separated for 6 mths and both had indescrections .They decided the marriage was worth saving, got back 2gether and moved into the beach house,Quinn went 2 hazelton, got back and was kidnapped a few weeks after her return home, she believed the lies the scum j.o. told her..ur husband owes my boss 50grand..he wants u dead..not so hard to understand the way she acted to stay alive and save her family after he said he would kill them if he didnt get the money!! way more than the keystone cops want u to know! I think alot of people don't realize they built they're life 2gether and a jealous sick immigrant shattered it! envy is sick! that's the reason alot of people don't know the whole story! Quinn wants to move on in her life & b peaceful with her children not b judged! just left alone! dateline was gonna do the story anyway so the family at least felt her mom could shed some light on the truth!

Hasn't the sheriff and FBI heard of Stockholm syndrome. Patti Hearst didn't just walk away when she had a
chance either. Also, she may have been scared he would kill her children if she left. That would keep most women from leaving voluntarily. He knew where she lived.
And it is so fishy that the recording only shows what he wants it to. Not the entire time she was missing.
She even admitted to the police about the sex which she has got to convince her kidnapper is enjoyable and feed his ego--it is her life at stake. If anyone has answers for these comments please tell me your
opinion. The FBI really messed it up it seemed---they transposed two number on a kidnapping case.

I found the missing text, thank goodness. I still think she is full of crap. She didn't sound coerced to me. She sounded like if we get caught let's act like the idiots we really are and give conflicting stories and we can both walk away from this. Me being rich and unhappy will explain why I did this, but bipolar will sound better. I, myself felt that the whole thing was a ploy to see how far she could push the envelope and still walk away with a large chunk of her husbands money. Now she'll get a divorce settlement, larger than the 50,000 she and J were asking for, while making a fool out of her poor mother, who had to apologize to her son=in=law, a fool out of her husband who shouldn't have to pay her a dime, her poor children when they are old enough to be told by their friends what a selfish cruel woman their mother was, and a fool out of the police, transposed # or not for the man hours used to find this sorry excuse for a wife, mother, daughter or citizen. When she was describing the sex she was so excited I think she would have banged the detective. The animated descreption of the event really made me think...HMMM this woman is not like the others. Is this going to be uploaded? I'm wondering why, with a great show, NBC delays putting it on the Internet. The competition has their crime show up within an hour or two of its being aired. Though broadcast a day later than Dateline, it's already up while the Dateline premier isn't.
