There is something terribly wrong in Utah. Kidnapping, wrongful incarceration, illegal search and seizure are just a few of the wrongful acts taking place in Utah on a daily basis; and all of this is being done under the authority of the Utah legal system. Utah has a close-knit legal system, commonly recognized outside of Utah as a “closed shop” environment. Litigants from outside the state that are forced to seek justice from the Utah courts don’t have a prayer-in-hell of succeeding. As foreign as it may be to the rule of law in other parts of America [and the free world], Utah actually has a [secret] procedure for judges and the “local” Utah litigants’ counsel to work together towards a predetermined outcome; and this procedure is in active use in Utah—and only in Utah. Some have referred to it as the “Mormon Factor”; others just see it as an abusive [legal] system. The modus operandi occurs through a practice that has long-sense been determined by every other state and even the U.S. Supreme Court as unconstitutional; the practice is the use of a “secret docket”; and this practice remains alive and very active in the Utah legal community. This practice allows the court and local counsel to conduct closed back-room proceedings while other counsel and litigants—such as those in this recent kidnapping incident—are kept in the dark and are blindsided by dubious, predetermined, and unconscionable rulings. Recently, closed secret proceedings were used by a Utah Judge who aided a local Utah litigant in a civil procedure to apprehend and wrongfully incarcerate a California man; the man was wrongfully apprehended in California and dragged to Utah by the local Utah litigants. The man was incarcerated for 2 weeks for failing to appear in a civil matter in Utah of which he had no knowledge and no involvement. Had the Utah Judge followed the law and recognized the man’s civil rights, this never could have happened. In another instance, a Utah judge sent “armed” individuals from Utah to an individual’s home on the other side of the country. Once there, with the authority of an [unenforceable] Utah order, they held a man’s wife and young daughter at bay while they searched the man’s home and took his property. The victims were so surprised, traumatized, and overwhelmed; the culprits were well gone before they could call for help. By the time local law enforcement showed up, the offenders had fled the state and headed back to Utah. Both of these recent incidents were able to occur because the Utah courts provided an appearance of legality. Clearly, there is something wrong in Utah and this most recent incident regarding an individual’s right to his own child is just the tip of the Utah iceberg. Let there be no misunderstanding; this incident was a [legal] kidnapping—which can only occur in Utah. Utah residents should be shrouded in sham; Utah’s legal system is to far gone to understand.
I am so bummed out!! I missed this episode. My dad is the one who gave mouth to mouth to the kitten "Smudge". If i I could get a copy of this I would be so very happy!!!
Raechelle- I was just looking for that exact clip (I have the episode on DVR). My dad and brother are both local firemen in Owensboro, KY. My uncle & grandfather are both retired fireman. We are cat lovers (I have one momma cat & her litter of 4 kittens). I would love to share the clip on facebook, but I cant find it. Any suggestions on where I can find it on the web?
I really wanted to watch the amazing animal show but after about 10 minutes of enduring the incredibly annoying and irratating jerky/bouncy video editing,. I cancelled the show. Try to find a video editor who's not addicted to coffee, meth or avant-garde art videos. A nice, relaxed presentation to sooth our worried minds please.
I was so impressed with the Animal Encounters episode on Sunday. I am a huge animal lover so this was my favorite Dateline episode I have seen. I was so touched by the ending of the episode with the lion named Christian. I was so amazed by Christian and the two guys that raised him and with George Adamson. I was so interested in knowing more about Christian I ordered the book about him and will also be purchasing the book George Adamson's wife published called Born Free that was on that episode. If I wouldn't have seen this episode (which I DVR every episode) I would have never known about the precious lion and owners as well as George Adamson. I am so interested in how animals and humans communicate and this has really made me even more interested. What a great show. I hope to see more animal encounters with happy endings:) Good job!!
