Jul. 29: 'Secret Life of the Homecoming Queen'

He was the football player, she was the homecoming queen. They fell in love, got married, had four beautiful daughters and became prominent members of their church community.  But when she started to feel ignored at home, her eyes wandered a few pews back to the church youth pastor -- her husband's best friend. A month later, the husband was found stabbed to death and the trail of evidence would lead back to the lovers.  Dennis Murphy reports Dateline NBC Friday, 9pm/8c.

As we all know, most people are killed by someone they know. This case is no different. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know she was involved!!!! One day, she will meet her maker!! Oh...... she is a prime example of someone who's lost their looks over time......What an ugly person inside.....and out!!!

I would like to say the prosecutors in this case used coercion to promised the death penalty would be off the table for both if Scott would agree to testify to things he admits never happened. After they took the death penalty off the table, they threatened Michelle with it again to get her to plead guilty. Because she was told it was the bible belt and she would for sure be found guilty. So what if she didn't cry, maybe she did in private, either way just by what she told Scott and how she acted shows she was in total shock. Also who are they hurting by not letting her see her girls? Not her, but the girls. The prosecutors seemed like fat jealous dishonest witches, out for a lynching. Where's the justice? Lot's of people have affairs, that doesn't mean they can control their lovers to kill. She never even mentioned the idea of killing her husband. This whole thing stinks of conspiracy against Michelle! The only thing she's guilty of is being naive.

Why won't it be available online? I came in on the middle of it and want to watch it from the beginning.

I agree with RaiderRich. Why isn't available online. I been hoping that you would re-air this episode. And I missed it.

Why do you advertise something (The Secret Life of a Homecoming Queen) and then make it so difficult to view the episode on your website?  ABC and CBS don't do that.  You have us searching and searching and trying to click all the links.  It's frustrating and ridiculous.

I hope Dateline will put a full version (video) of this story online. I missed part of the story and it really caught my interest... "The Secret Life of the Homecoming Queen" leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Michelle doesn't say much, is very vague, and seems to be hiding something. Scott seems to be fried, realizing the extent of his actions. It's shocking how this tragedy could happen to religiously devoted people... There's more to this story and I don't think this true story has ended. Why did this really happen? Was Thad really too busy for his wife?

Why isn't this episode available on-line? Doesn't Dateline care about on-line viewers? Competing shows seem to.

Well, now I have the same feeling as the above. Why is this episode not available on line and/or on your site? I feel since there are a number of us who would like to see this from beginning to end, Dateline might at least offer an explanation as to the reason why we are only allowed to read the transcript. Those annoying types of ads while reading are distracting. I don't mind all of the video ads, but the print ads with the rolling and flashing are simply annoying. Please, the video already, please. Thank you!
