Florida native Jimmy Trindade knew his way around the Bahamian islands as well as any local. Chris Hansen reports on what happened when Jimmy Trindade piloted his best friend's 38-foot Donzi from Spanish Cay back to Palm Beach and went missing. His boat was found, but he was not. From an extensive search that lasted months to strange twists and turns, Trindade's daughter and brother are still looking for answers. Lost at Sea airs Friday, June 24th, at 9pm/8c.
Also, on a frantic predawn morning in Lima, Ohio, Dr. Mark Wangler called 911 to say his carbon monoxide detector was going off and his wife was having a seizure. But when she died that morning, why did police doubt his story? Was it an accident or was it murder? Kate Snow reports on this tangled case and how it tore a family apart. Deadly Exposure airs Friday, June 24th, at 10pm/9c.

As I watched this show about the Dr and his wife my feelings were as we have become programed to feel. The wife dies, the husband did it. And it is probably more true then not. What I don't understand in this case is what seemed as very poor representation by Dr. Wanglers legal team. At the end of the show the 3 jurors who spoke said, ' we based our decession on the journal and we quickly ruled out the hot water heater. A couple of the guys knew about hot water heaters' I think since the hot w.h. was very important to the defense maybe they should of question potential jurors on their knowledge/experience with them. I would have also pushed that the journal never said anything about hurting his wife. The prosecutors used his religious beliefs against him, that he would rather kill his wife then divorce her! Also the journal why did the doctor keep it after she died? Then you had the parade of people who said he didn't look sad, or had real crying? The prosecutors never even said how he did it? Just a maybe this or that. Seems VERY weak at best. But sadly in the end, as we have been programed, I think he did it.
Are Dateline episodes ever replayed or on demand? Jimmy Trindade was a personal friend of mine but I only heard about this episode today, two days too late, and wish to see it.
the whole show is now on dateline at dateline.msnbc.com
This is a travesty of justice and a total crock of crap on the paert of the prosecution.
I am a mechanical contractor, plumbing and heating. I have seen more cases of carbon monoxide poisonings that I would care to admit. All accidents and no one believed it. I am so concerned about CO poisoning that I carry a personal CO detector on my person at all times.
Prosecutors aren't interested in the truth. They are only interested in convictions and theories that that will prove their mistaken conclusions. N o matter what the evidence will show and that the doctor is innocent, in the eyes of the prosecution, "The jury spoke. He's guilty". End of discussion.
Our jury/legal system is broken and this prosecutor is breaking it.
