Jun. 17: 'Lost in Sin City', 'The State vs. Casey Anthony'

The murder of Theresa Insana, a young casino sales executive in Las Vegas, has haunted her family and friends since 2004. Experienced investigators called the crime scene one of the most puzzling they'd ever come across. Josh Mankiewicz leads the Unsolved Case Squad in Lost in Sin City on Friday, June 17th, at 9pm/8c.

Also, it's a story that has captivated the nation for three years - the death of little Caylee Anthony and the young mother accused of murdering her. As the prosecution builds its death penalty case against Casey Anthony, Dennis Murphy reports on the explosive new evidence emerging in a Central Florida courtroom and untangles the family dynamics at the heart of this tragic story.  The State vs. Casey Anthony airs Friday, June 17th, at 10pm/9c.

I would love to see a background done on Casey Anthony with childhood friends up to now to see if anything in her background set off any alarms - we see all the news shows about the trial, but a history of her through the eyes of relatives and friends could really give some insight into this person.

I just watched the show about Casey Anthony and the reporter was talking about how, because Casey is such a liar that that makes her a sexually abused child. That is not true. I am a sexually abused child and I am FAR from being a liar. That Lawyer is so wrong and judgmental. Being such a liar, like she is, is because of some sort of chemical imbalance not because she was sexually molested. I have a 22 year old daughter that lies like it's apart of life and she has never been sexually molested. She is just like her father and he is a big liar. I think it's something that is hereditary. I think it's a chemical imbalance, of some sort. My daughter is a good girl and smart girl, she just lies and thinks it's okay, just like her father.

Regarding the Casey Anthony trial. There is one thing that could explain the entire case, IE. CASEY's EXTREME HATRED FOR HER MOTHER AND A FOILED INTENTION TO COMMIT SUICIDE ALONG WITH KILLING CALLEY, THEREBY DEPPRIVING HER MOTHER OF HER LOVE FOR CALLEY.  Casey's behavior after losing Calley seems to represent a woman who wants her last fling before commiting suicide. Hence, she left her purse in the abandon car and partied it up.  The only problem is that she did not have the nerve to do herself in after taking Calley's life. But her hatred for her mother continues, as indicated by her accusing her brother and father of molesting her.

Mr. Cooper, I think you don't know what your talking about.   She never said anything about suicide!!...come on.   You don't know what your talking about.

WHY does she have to say anything about suicide to make that a possibility? I think maybe you are being narrow minded and would exclude possibilities without giving it much thought. Dont misuderstand. I am not looking for Casey to have an excuse. Nor do I think she should get off on not guilty by insanity. IMO she belongs loicked up for a long time. But her behavior is TOTALLY INCONSISTENT and that warrants an explanation beyond calling her a stupid woman.

I believe that Casey was just being a stupid girl...didnt have a baby sitter, so she took her out to party with her, only Caylee was locked in the hot trunk of her car for hours and hours and couldnt get enough air. At some point, she passed out and eventually died from heat exhaustion.  The duct tape that everyone is talking about was probably used to keep her from letting anyone know she was in the trunk...who knows how long that baby was in the trunk?  Casey was probably drunk and didnt have the insite to check on her before she passed out and probably found her lifeless body the next day?

I'm still curious how the meter man KNEW for months where the body was...that just doesnt make sense to me...he could have had access to the baby too.  There are so many variables to this case that she is probably going to walk--she is the one that is going to have to live with her part in Caylee being gone.

That's the most sense that I've heard thru this whole thing.  I think your right.
