May 20: 'Relentless'

Chris Hansen tells the story of a young woman's quest to find her mother's alleged killer. Theresa Ramirez, who was 7 years old when her mother Rosie was murdered, made it her mission to revisit the 18-year old cold case. With the help of Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia, a former Marine, the duo worked diligently on this case for over four years. Tracking down key witnesses, they enlisted the help of a forensic artist who created an age-progression sketch of the man in question, whom they believed had fled to Mexico.

Relentless airs Friday, May 20th, at 9pm/8c.

Theresa- Just watched this and I want to say Thank you! Thank you for never giving up your fight for justice for your Mother and getting that justice! This is just what I needed to watch, by accident I came upon this episode, tonight. I too lost my Mother to murder at the young age of 20, four years ago and it too is still unsolved. Like you I vow to never give up my fight for justice for her. I will fight like you have to find her killer. You have given me the strength to go on and when you jumped the fence to go to the cemetary and said " I need to go tell my Mom" I teared up because it was so touching, something I would have done. Very proud of you and your family and my deepest prayers and sympathy go out to you and your siblings for your loss. Your Mother's siblings too, bless you all. You go girl!

You're an amazing young woman, a wise old soul in a young body. We were all with you in spirit on your quest for justice. We salute your strength and are humbled by your courage and determination to fight for a just cause and never give up. I cried when they announced his arrest. We truly are all connected. Your pain is ours, your victory won for everyone who has ever been wronged. You are a modern day heroine in world sadly lacking heroes.

My heart went out to Theresa and her family and I was glad Jaun Carlos was finally nabbed. I commend Aaron for his tenacity and ability to sit at his desk 24/7 waiting for a phone call (his 3 cell phones must be broke)

These were the most excruciating two hours of my life and I want at least one of them back.

Stick to catching predators, Chris! Now those I could watch all day.

            Aaron and Theresa,

Wow, what a story.  I was moved by both of you extraordinary individuals.  First by Aaron, there was something different about your demeanor I just couldn't put my finger on.  Calm, confident, focused, assured.  As soon as they said you were a Marine, all the pieces fell into place.  Aaron, you did a fantastic job.  Your family should be very proud of you.

Theresa, what can I say.  Your mother would be so proud of you.  As your sister and brother and your family are of you.  It is amazing how many cases are not solved because resources are not utilized, and fresh eyes are not made available for victims of crimes.  I was so glad that you got your degree.

The story brought me to tears a few times, and my heart went out to you.  Your biggest accomplishment was to bring your family back together, and mend the hurt which one man caused.  I pray your family will heal and have many more family get together's.

Aaron...be safe.   Theresa God bless.  And thank you both for sharing your story.

This was the best thing i've watched on tv in so long! What a remarkable girl you are Rosie! Your mother must be so very proud of you as the rest of your family is. The determination you possessed was nothing short of remarkable. God bless you and although catching your mothers murderer will never give you back the years you lost on having her to love you, I hope it has brought you some closure. Best wishes in your future.

My VCR ran out of tape and I missed the end of your story.  I read about the arrest.  fantastic.  I was wondering about Aaron and Theresa and what they are doing now.  They seemed to really bond.

What a story! What a wonderful family!

Theresa, you are a woman of quality. Make sure you always have a man of equal quality! Do not ever put up with abuse. And remember to credit the God who loves your mother even more than you do. It was He that put that mission in your heart because of His deep love for you and for your family. It's amazing how your love for your mother and the love she gave you spurred you on.

Aaron, you're The Man! A real man! Un Hombre Mexicano de Verdad! A real true American Man! Let this be a lesson to be true to your family and treat your wife as an equal, with respect.

Mother of Rosie: she looked so much like you. Your soul runs deep, and it is obvious that this wonderful family came through your inner beauty and strength. You should be so very proud!

                    Sisters are forever!
