Heart breaking that these social illnesses are so prevalent in our society, and I applaude Ed's involvement. His awareness of the situation was demonstrated by his ending statements concerning loving the possibility of not having have these problems. Because we have these problems laws are necessary, however we must understand social illness is a symptom and no disease may be cured by passing a law. Just like cancer research addresses cause in their search for a cure so must our society address cause for social illness. It should be apparent, considering the prevalance of this problems, something is broken in our society.
