Transcripts and full hours

Dateline NBC videos and reports are available on the Dateline.msnbc.com Web site, although not everything is posted online (some broadcast material is not available for Internet use).

For the reports that will be made available online, video is typically posted the day after the broadcast. In some cases, reports are posted as late as the following weekday. Check out our home page for the most recent content.

To get up-to-date information, you can subscribe to the newsletter here. Dateline NBC newsletters are sent two to three times a week (before each broadcast) and contain links to all recent reports.

Not enough transcripts any more. I used to enjoy visiting this site when looking for reading material (I often am in a spot where it would be rude to run video). It has been months since I was able to read full stories.

I really enjoyed the transripts as well. I thought I wasnt savvy enough to find them on the new website. Please bring them back...I would much rather read than watch the story online!

I totally agree. I used to read the transcripts when everyone else is in bed. I like the videos too but they sometimes cease up on me before the end.

Please, please, please bring the transcripts back! Like so many of the other Dateline fans I see on here, I am unable to view the video as I sometimes experience technical difficulties. But more than anything, I enjoyed reading the transcripts during my lunch hour at work! I hope you reconsider bringing them back!

So many of us are unable to watch the videos and can only read the transcripts. When will we be available to read again? I really love the show and now I feel like I'm missing out on so much.

I agree with the others: I LOVE TO READ! During breaks and lunch i would download a story. Please, Please bring back the transcripts. Most of us cannot run the videos at work, but we can read. Thanks in advance!

Can't watch the videos, but I can read! Please bring them back! There are places and times where the audio is inappropriate or bothersome to others and it's the only way to see your stories. Thanks!

reading a dying art. they are treating us like fossils. there is no greater joy, than reading a great crime story.

Where is the transcript of the November Kyron Horman story? Many people weren't able to watch it, many want to see it. If you cannot somehow *afford* to air the video in your archives, could you at least publish the transcript? So many people are asking, why do you not acknowledge us, or at least let us know why you cannot do so.

I have written to you on this subject earlier, now I see that I am not the only one who wants to read transcript rather than atch videos. I'm sure you can provide both options to viewers to choose.

Please listen and bring the transcripts back.

I am a total Dateline addict too, & I found a lot of transcripts & vidoes. At the bottom of the MSN screen there is a place to click on the site map. Click on that & a window will open up of basically everything on MSN's site. Find the Documentary heading & click on that & hundreds of stories come up.

Another way to find just Dateline stories is to type into your search bar "crime stories Dateline". Click on the link for dateline & a whole page of videos & transcripts will be there. Awesome, huh? :)

Like all other posters here - please, bring back the transcripts.

More importantly, how about someone RESPONDING to all these requests for transcripts? Now that would be showing you care about your audience.
