Watch 'Mystery on a moonlit road' this Friday on Dateline

This Friday, DATELINE has the story of a young woman who grew up surrounded by people who loved her. But she still had an empty place in her heart, a little knot of grief for the father she never really knew.

He was murdered 36 years ago and the stories that surrounded his death never seemed to add up. She had so many questions about him and how he died, and all she wanted was a straight answer.
